Cabinet Shop Carpenter Full Time Day Shift

About the Role

Position Summary At Stony Brook Medicine, our Carpenters are responsible for the construction and repair of structures

and other items in Stony Brook Medicine and adjacent grounds. Duties of a Cabinet Shop Carpenter may include the

following but are not limited to: Ability to use machinery, tools(power and hand), equipment and materials of the

Cabinet shop trade. Working knowledge of the cabinet trade including cabinetry installations. Ability to install and

adjust locks, hinges and other door hardware during the installation process. Ability to read blueprints and

specification related to the cabinetry field. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights on scaffolds and platforms.
