About the Role

Baker The Bakery Specialist/Baker is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and

ensuring the freshest quality product. The Bakery Specialist/Baker produces the highest quality baked goods, maintains

department conditions, to include proper ordering, inventory, production, and food safety standards in the Bakery

department. The Bakery Specialist/Baker provides product knowledge and expertise to our customers. Supports Big Y's

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives. Must be proficient in baking and ordering (as assigned) for the entire

sales areas of the bakery department. Must project a clean and professional appearance. Ability to operate within
