About the Role

Aircraft Avionics Mechanic The aircraft avionics mechanic I maintains and troubleshoots aircraft MDS type UH-60 as it

pertains to electrical and avionics systems, sub-systems, communications, navigation systems, weapons, and aircraft

survivability equipment. This mechanic will be required to repair and replace aircraft wiring, replaces aircraft

components and trouble shoot aircraft electrical systems as needed or as instructed in technical publications and IETMS.

The mechanic will need to be able to use a multi-meter as well as other standard avionic test sets in order to maintain

and trouble-shoot aircraft systems. This worker reads schematics, interprets maintenance manuals, service bulletins,
